How do we know that our lives have mattered? The usual metrics of having lived a good life - higher education, career achievement, financial gain - may make you seem like a successful individual but is that enough to say that your time on earth mattered? How do we shift our perspective from defining success in only individual terms? In this talk Niels will share his journey of starting Humanos, a not-for-profit dedicated to marrying the mind of business with the heart of humanity to transform the lives of the disadvantaged, to inspire others how to redefine what it means to live a good life, where we are able to see beyond our own needs and desires, and take action to help improve the lives of others.
