Got this "leather" repair tape off Amazon to tape up my desk chair. I picked this one because the reviews on it were good and people mentioned that the adhesive is aggressive which is what I want since other products were noted as peeling off or not holding well. The tape is 3 inches wide and 60 inches (5 feet) long so it should be plenty for an office chair. Application and handling were pretty easy. The chair itself is still fully functional so I didn't want to replace it considering that the tape is about $10 and the chair had cost me about $100.
