In this episode of our Norwegian sailing series, we go deep into Norway’s biggest fjord, the 200km long Sognefjorden, where the peaks are so tall, we get neck strain from all the spectating! The Sognefjorden holds many treasures in its midst including a beautiful stave church in Vik, waterfalls in Arnafjorden, mirror-reflected waters at Bakke, and of course, stunning Flam. Here, we explore the majestic Brekkefossen waterfall and take the Flamsbana train on its historical route to the summit of the valley, passing the Kjosfossen and its mystical dancer. The scale of land and water here is so vast, one needs fly a drone to properly see depth and distance. In this video, we show stunning footage from multiple drone flights.
