This week we feature one of SA's most independent and socially minded woman – photographer, blogger and political science student Lesego Legoeane, a.k.a. Thick Leeyonce!

Growing up, Lesego noticed she was different to the black women featured on TV or in magazine. Finding she couldn't relate to them, she chose to see and project her own body type as worthy of admiration, and in the process helped free a lot of young women to love their bodies.

It's no wonder that she's become one of the top 10 most influential people on South African social media.
