STORYLINE :
Hundreds of mourners gathered on Tuesday for the funeral ceremony of a Jewish settler shot by Palestinian gunmen whilst travelling on a settler road in the West Bank.
Idit Mizrahi, 22, was buried in the Mount Herzle Ceremony, usually reserved for the military, at the special request of her family.
The fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday evening as Mizarhi was travelling through Maale Michmash near Ramallah with her family, to attend a wedding in Jerusalem.
Their car came under fire from gunmen on a hillside.
Police said a total of 19 bullets hit the vehicle.
Mizrahi's father and brother, who were lightly injured during the incident, were present at the funeral.
Earlier on Wednesday a group of settlers set up a road block at the site where Mizrahi was killed.
They burned tyres in the road and chased away a Palestinian taxi that tried to drive through the area.
