The National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit. The roots of Red Dress Day trace back to an art project by Métis artist Jamie Black in 2010. Hanging Red Dresses in public spaces serves as a visual reminder of sorrow and resilience.
