The process of returning expression of interest forms for aspiring candidates for different political positions in the NRM, is in its third day. Sources privy to the process have told NTV that so far at least 200 petitions have been lodged. One of those who returned forms today is Form EALA Speaker Margaret Nantongo Zziwa who was impeached and kicked out. Nantongo is vying to to replace Jacqueline Mbabazi as Chairperson of the National Women's League against her rival Nusura Tiperu who led her impeachment campaign in the legislative assembly.  Zziwa is also seeking to return to the Kampala woman MP post which she held before she joined regional politics. The process of returning the forms ends on 20th August.
