Spotted wing drosophila is a new invasive insect pest that caused severe damage in fruit crops such as raspberries, blackberries, grapes, blueberries, and peaches in Indiana in 2013. Monitoring for this pest will aid growers in knowing when to initiate insecticide spray programs.
