On Sunday, journalist Raman Kashyap was killed in the violence that took place in Lakhimpur Kheri. Seven others died that day, including four farmers. Raman Kashyap’s father says, his son was killed after being run over and not lynched by farmers. "I would have figured out if the farmers had murdered him had I seen lathi marks on his body. He said he saw marks on his son's body indicating that he was run over by the car.
