Is it better to rebuild a carburetor or buy a new one? Maybe just cleaning your carburetor will get it done?
In this video from Partzilla.com, John will take you through some of the things to consider when you’re deciding whether to clean, rebuild, or replace your carb. In some cases, a little time in some carb dip and a little elbow grease is enough. Other times, a carb rebuild kit might be a better choice.
But what about when the carb needs something more extreme? You could consider a ultrasonic cleaning at a shop, but it might be more cost effective to buy a whole new carburetor and spend 15 or 20 minutes replacing it.
