Do you consider financial literacy to be important? Well, listen to this TED talk to understand why it’s not only beneficial but even more than that, mandatory. Miruna Neamu will be talking about her experience as a girl interested in finance and the steps you need to take, as a girl, to become financially literate. I am Miruna Neamu and I'm an 11th grader at “I. L. Caragiale” National High School in Bucharest. I am incredibly passionate about finance and one of my main focuses is raising awareness about the lack of financial literacy. Hence, I have co-founded the FeminEast Association, which aims to make economic education accessible to everyone, especially to women in Eastern Europe. With this in mind, my speech will go along the lines of why you need financial literacy, the effects of not benefiting from it, and how to gain it. Moreover, I will talk about my experience with self-teaching economics and the obstacles girls have to overcome while learning about finance. See you there! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
