Working directly under the orders of the Ukrainian government, ecologists work toward understanding and harnessing the zone’s unique anomalies, flora, and fauna. After the events of the fist emission, the government realized that the new landscape surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power plant was something beyond current human understanding. When the first military operation into the heart of the zone was labeled as a massive failure, ecologists were organized into expeditionary units and assigned military protection. The first ecologist teams developed a base of operations near Lake Yantar, and they began to journey into areas that had been undocumented previously. Slowly gathering data on anomalies and collecting undiscovered artifacts, the ecologists began to paint a scientific picture of the changes that occurred within the exclusion zone. Focusing on researching high priority locations throughout the zone, the ecologists have displayed a key interest in Lab X16. Because of their expeditions, ecologists are the worlds foremost experts on Psi-emitters, Anti gravity, gene modification, and teleportation.
