This week we talk about one of the rarest action figures I've ever come across, the highly elusive Zython from the Mattel Space:1999 action figure collection.

In Zack 12, Zack starts a new competition. 333 times, the top team of
Alpha 1 will be raffled: one original Mattel doll from Commander
Koenig, Professor Victor Bergman, Chief Physician Helena Russell and
(as a scary effect) a monster doll whose head glows green in the dark.
With these figures you can even play the exciting Alpha 1 stories from
Zack, so make science fiction at home in your own shack.

I don't own this incredibly rare carded example but thankfully, I do know someone that has one and I examine it and give it's interesting back story.
