Nine NRM members of parliament opposed to the lifting of the presidential age limit from the constitution say the party chairman president Yoweri Museveni has ignored their demands for a succession debate in the party and for the presidency, in his response to a letter they wrote him in October. The MPs have also accused the chairman of consulting only the party Central and National Executive Committees on the constitution amendment bill that seeks to amend Article 102(b), and not the other party structures.
