This week, the best players on the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour will compete against one another in the first co-sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open between the two tours. Players from each tour will be teeing it up at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, including 2022 Travelers Champion Xander Schauffele, 2022 PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and former World No. 1 John Rahm. U.S. Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick will make his much-anticipated return at the Genesis Scottish Open and will be looking to build on his result last year, when he finished runner-up to Min Woo Lee, who defeated Fitzpatrick and Thomas Detry in a three-way playoff. Robert MacIntyre will be carrying the hopes of the home fans as the highest-ranked Scottish player in the field, while the top-ranked player on the DP World Tour, Will Zalatoris, who finished runner up at both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship, will be hoping to turn his excellent form into his first win on either tour.
