Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, Junye 30, 2023.

As an Air Quality Alert remains in effect for a handful of counties in Northeast Ohio, we're also tracking some rain / storm chances for the weekend ahead.

Unsettled weather moves in for the weekend ahead of our next front to arrive sometime late on Sunday. There is a chance for strong storms tomorrow and possibly on Sunday though what could aide in our minimized threat would be cloudy cover and the lack of a trigger, ie front. Because conditions don't really improve in terms of sunshine, and more juice aka humidity, the front may just pass without too much of a roar.

Ahead of the Fourth of July holiday Tuesday, some showers and a few rumbles could linger into Monday with daytime highs around 80 degrees.

Then prepare yourselves for some real southern heat mid to late week!

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a few pop-ups and rumbles possible. Low 70s.

SATURDAY: Scattered to strong storms possible. Low 80s.

SUNDAY: Scattered to strong storms possible. Low 80s.

MONDAY: Scattered storms linger with some rain. Upper 70s.
