This is a VERY BASIC idea of how to get a better sound in your vehicle using very simple equipment. We use the iPhone and its built-in microphone and the AUDIOCONTROL App. One of the features of this app is the RTA. This shows the frequency repsonse of your audio system in realtime. Play a PINK NOISE track (youtube video will work too) and watch the RTA. Witgh the EQ of your stereo, you can adjust the settings up and down, and the goal is to "flatten" the display on the iPhone. Now in the best scenario, you would use a better microphone and have it positioned in the correct listening position, and adjust it (preferably outside the vehicle).
