Shericka Jackson, the fastest woman alive in the 200 meters and the reigning World Champion in the distance, also won the 200 at the Jamaican National Championships in 21.71, a season’s best.
On Sunday, she will compete in her first race since those championships when she lines up in a stacked 100 meter field at the Silesia Diamond League meet in Poland.
