I have been using a control panel to move my cnc based on an arcade controller and keyboard emulator made by Ultimark it is called Ipac2 which works really well,I got the idea from a guy on youtube that made it his website: edsjunk.net I have been using it for a while, however I am redesigning my cnc router so I was looking for ideas on youtube and watch a video from Laguna Tools where I saw a hand held remote control that they use in their Laguna swift model 4x4 and I thought that maybe would be a good idea to make one similar to it. I ended up remaking the original control panel but not using an ipac2 emulator but instead using a wireless keyboard controller and assigning shortcut keys with the Mach3 screen editor.
The adventage of my new remote is that it is wireless (bluethooth)
seems to work the same as the ipac2 no noticeable delay with the mach3 commands.
Special thanks to:
Eddie Zarick for his video
