Here is the 'on the air' test for SMC Oscar 1 radio (1981) that hzad to modified back from a non-working 10M amateur radio conversion. These sets use the enhanced version of the Cybernet 134 chassis usually found in sets like the York 863, Rotel 240, Harvard 420M, Binatone 5-star & Harrier CBX.
At this point the meter lamp still needed to be replaced.
low power was 400mW on this test, full power was 3.8W. Standard coffin replacement mike.

As usual, Mr Chippie drove along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. He stopped at the 5-mile point to conduct a static test on low power.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio we use in the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.
