Hello! For todays hike, I parked in the village of Edale in the Peak District and did a circular hike up and over Kinder Scout. I used an All Trails route, which I have linked below, of which I modified the ending and came down Grindslow Knoll instead, which had the most amazing views of the Edale valley and the Great Ridge.

This area of the Peak District offers so many hiking routes of various difficulties, and is somewhere I recommend often for those new to solo hiking, new to hiking in general or for people who just want a nice day out in the hills followed by a decent pub lunch and a pint at the end..
