Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is suing the NFL after he believed he was targeted by the NFL for leaks of his emails. On Wednesday May 26th, Judge Nancy L. Allf denied the NFL's motion to compel arbitration as well as the league's motion to dismiss the case outright. The suit will now go to trial unless a settlement is reached.

For a while now, the NFL and Roger Goodell have enjoyed the fact that several legal proceedings moved to arbitration. Meaning the proceedings of those cases stay behind closed doors.

Jon Gruden's lawsuit win could have huge repercussions for the NFL moving forward.
