Arguably in the top 5 best dive sites in Queensland and Australia east coast, the "Manta Bommie" is a short boat ride from Point Lookout.

The video doesn't really highlight how lucky we were to actually launch the boat with an over 1mtr high shore break. But our skipper from the Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre did a pretty amazing job with our launching tractor driver having to make a swim through the swell out to the boat.

Incredibly despite the conditions the viability was fantastic, though we were compensated with very strong current.

Within the first 3min we saw Turtles, a Shovel Nosed and Leopard sharks and of course Manta Rays. An amazing site and highly recommended!
