Two gunrunners in possession of 1,620 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition have been arrested by troops at kuduru hill along kaduna - Jos road in lere Local Government Area of kaduna state.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja to acquaint Nigerians on the strides recorded by troops in conjunction with other security agencies, the Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Maj. General John Enenche said investigation indicates that the ammunition were to delivered to a bandit leader in Zamfara state.
He further stated that, seven armed bandits were killed and two others arrested with the sum of one million, three hundred thousand naira in diverse operations in the North West zone.
