In this week's episode, it's about propagating Nepenthes through cuttings.

In general, the plant should be well establish before performing a cutting. Not all cutting will eventually form roots.

Couples of reasons why cutting is done.
1. Propagation
2. The plant has grown too tall to manage
3. Damaged to the stalk (Perhaps, weather or animal related)

We do not use humidity chamber to contain the cuttings and we root the cuttings in outdoor conditions. We have to ensure that the rooting media (sphagnum) is moist otherwise the cutting may dry out.
