Hi Everyone and Welcome Back to Living in Wake Channel. I share my love for PWC's and nature. You will see content exploring the ocean,lakes and coasts of New Zealand.
In this video - taken right smack in the middle of Winter (August) 2023 - I head to Kinloch to launch and explore the western arm of Lake Taupo. Conditions weren't great to start, but improved rapidly through the day. New territory for me. I explored all the small coves and beaches along the way, having a good look at some amazing waterfalls - flowing into the lake. I found myself a secluded beach to park up and re-fuel. The ride finished with PURE glass. My Sea-doo RXP (as always) performed well in all conditions.
Kinloch has one of the best marina and boat ramp facilities I have used to date. It is a great place to launch from. I thoroughly enjoyed this ride, and will be back to explore other areas of the lake in future.
