In 2016, it was projected that Ghana would need 300,000 new jobs annually due to its growing youth population. However, the economy remains largely unchanged, with most jobs being low-skilled and offering low earnings. Ghana faces the challenge of creating access to high-quality, productive jobs. This project supports the transformation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into a competency-based system (CBT). It focuses on continuous training for TVET teachers, stronger collaboration between industry and education, and modernising TVET with sustainable, green, and digital components.
