Darkest Moments in history

The Kragujevac massacre, which occurred on October 21, 1941, was a tragic event during World War II in Yugoslavia. The occupying German forces carried out a brutal reprisal against the local population in the city of Kragujevac. Over 2,700 civilians, including schoolchildren and university students, were rounded up and executed in retaliation for guerrilla attacks by Yugoslav Partisans.
