Highlights from my flight Loganair LM353 from Edinburgh to Sumburgh. Filmed on 23rd December 2017.
This was my first flight with Loganair since they ended their franchise with Flybe and went into competition with them. A competition they have won as Flybe have announced they are pulling out of the route from 6th January 2018.
Loganair have made huge improvements since their separation from Flybe and have gone from one of my least favourite airlines to a perfectly acceptable one. Their booking system is greatly improved as is their customer service. This is the first Loganair flight I have been on where the cabin crew didn’t seem to hate their job. The competition with Flybe has seen them lower their prices as well. This trip cost a mere £135 return (This is still more expensive than return flights to New York for the same dates after you take off the Air Discount Scheme discount.) Unfortunately, Loganair have already announced they plan to increase prices once they are operating a monopoly.
I’m definitely a fan of the new Loganair livery and interiors. Let me know what you think in the comments.
