Optic India has been disqualified from the eXTREMESLAND 2018 Aisa Finals after one of their players by the name of “forsaken” was caught cheating. The Team played in the bo3 knockout stages against Revolution, when administrators noticed a suspicious program running on forsakens computer. They stopped the tournament and checked out the players computer where he frantically tried to remove the cheat as can be seen in the video. The subsidiary team of Optic Gaming has since removed forsaken from their roster and issued an apology stating that his teammates had no idea he was cheating. Forsaken was already VAC Banned in July 2017 and the Esports Integrity Coalition suspended him from professional CSGO for 2 years. He convinced The Tegrity Coalition, he was involved in account trading and it wasn’t his account at the time of the VAC Ban. his suspension was then reduced to 6 months which allowed him to compete in this tournament. Forsaken has yet to be banned by Valve, so technically he could still play professional CSGO for another team.
