Last Rotary year, because of the support from and dedication of Rotarians to Doing Good in the World, together Rotary funded more than 1,100 global grants, 470 district grants, and 310 disaster response grants. Rotarian generosity helped The Rotary Foundation raise more than $427 million which will continue to help communities thrive through sustainable, life-changing projects.
Gifts from donors enable Rotary members to make a big impact in communities around the world by helping those who need us most during a time that is as uncertain as any. Rotary is grateful that it can keep strengthening communities by improving people’s health, supporting quality education, protecting the environment, alleviating poverty, and aiding those affected by disasters. Together, we continue to accomplish all of this great work while remaining committed to solving some of the world’s most complex problems, including eradicating polio to make sure children are free from its devastating effects.
