I am in a poor connection area so I have to make this video short. I am cooking up some Miami rides for y'all.
PLEASE BE AWARE THE SEATPOST SIZE I ORDERED IS A 30.6
This is the Topeak Explorer rack (without a spring) mounted on the frame of a Turbo Creo SL, the bad being used is a Topeak MTX (the one that extends to the top and has panniers that fold on the sides)... the hardest part of the installation here is getting the dropper post disconnected - it is connected by a tension latch that must be taken out.
The process goes like this:
1. loosen seat clamp (so you can manipulate the seat post)
2. push the dropper cable toward the frame (this gives you more slack)
3. detach the dropper seat from the tension cable latch
4. pull the seat post out and install the new seat post mentioned in the video
5. reattach the seat to the dropper tension cable
6. lock the new seat post in the desired place
7. start mounting the rack (yes, directly to the frame, I used tape to protect direct contact points, you do not need the disc brake specific one - 2 screws attach to the rear-bottom triangle, and 2 screws attach to the seat post, the rest are used to hold the rack from swaying back and forth, they attach directly to the rack x 4 screws)
I can answer any installation questions in the comments below!
