In the 19th century, the Austrian capital of Vienna saw an unprecedented immigration of people from Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. In fact, so many Czech people moved to Vienna that it became the largest Czech city in the world, even before Prague and Brünn. This video explains why so many decided to take the journey, how their life changed after arrival and why so few of them are left today.
