Below is a list of various types of PTFE coated fabrics / materials that we supply in many different forms.

Teflon tape made from PTFE Fabrics / glass cloths

Our tape range is available from on online shop as slit rolls or sheet form. We can slit to sizes ranging from 10mm up to 1000mm wide. All rolls are 30mtr long and can be dispatched next day from order.

We slit our tapes all from stock and offer then in following types which are all PTFE coated glass cloths and PTFE coated Fabrics with an adhesive backing.

PTFE Coated Fabrics / Material Used As Tapes

Tefsil 3 Adhesive - Nominal thickness 0.08mm
Tefsil 5 Adhesive - Nominal thickenss 0.11mm
Tefsil 6 Adhesive - Nominal thickness 0.15mm
Tefsil 10 Adhesive - Nominal thickness 0.25mm
Tefsil 14 Adhesive - Nominal thickness 0.35mm

The adhesive used is a pressure sensitive type which has a continual service temperature of 240 degrees C.

PTFE Fabric Zone Tapes

Zone tapes are manufactured in house by Techbelt which are specifically designed for heat sealing machines. Typically a 50mm wide tape product will have 10mm wide double sided tape adhered to the edges. This leaves a 30mm wide strip down the centre free from adhesive. The free area is where the element wire would be which benefits from not being in contact with any adhesive. The two strips of adhesive allow the tape to be stuck down to the housing block.
