The Alpinestars SMX-1R Vented Boots blend technology, comfort, fit, and durability into a quality low-cut riding boot. This boot is constructed of a lightweight, abrasion resistant microfiber upper with an improved rubber compound sole that features patterning to improve grip. This short-cut boot incorporates TPU protectors in strategic areas that work with the accordion flex zones and strap to improve both protection and fit. The SMX-1R Boots also feature a medial zippered closure, double density ankle protector, internal toe box protection, removable anatomic foot bed with EVA and Lycra , and an internal mesh lining.

Integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU heel counter, lateral ankle, and shift pad for improved shock protection and durability
Internal toe box protection is layered under the upper for durability, improved feel, and performance

Comfort

Innovative heel counter support system, which works in conjunction with strap closure to offer improved fit and support as well as structural integrity
Rear of heel counter has been redesigned with soft TPR insert which works seamlessly with rear flex zone to allow for improved freedom of ankle movement and comfort on the bike’s controls
Durable TPR shift pad
Ergonomic boot shaping for forefoot streamlining which offers wide-ranging foot profile, fit, and comfort
Evolved closure strap which is anatomically angled to follow the natural shape of the rider’s instep
