Watch part two here: [ Ссылка ]. An exploration of the enigmatic Spiro Mounds in Oklahoma that date back to the Caddoan Mississippian era of the Mound Builders. It thrived from 900 - 1500 AD, but evidence suggests it may be much older. Craig Mound is a quad mound that looks like four mounds joined together and is one of many at the site. It was famously opened in the 1930s and thousands of priceless artifacts were uncovered, including giant skeletons and mummified remains. It also has geomantic significance and astronomical alignments, that we will focus on in the next video.
