Chakla is a small village located in 24 Parganas district of West Bengal and in recent days it's getting developed, as Chakla is a well-known Religious Tourist Place of Bengal for Lokenath Baba Temple. It's famous world wide for the Temple of Lokenath Bramhachari Baba (Thakur / Guru Ji). Since, Chakla is the Birthplace of Lokenath Baba.

The temple is located on huge area stand it contains different houses in it. That includes the temple itself, office rooms, which are used for charitable functions and a huge pond, which is denoted to be the one, wherefrom the spiritual expansion of Baba began. The total compound is having different blocks and it will take a full day for you to visit. While going there, you can also wait for the Prasada, which is delivered to the devotees after the second Puja. The temple priests pray for three times a day, with full devotion.

by train - you can board the train from Sealdah railway station to reach Chakla Dham
by bus - CSTC operates a bus from Esplanade to Guma every 15 minutes. Tickets cost ₹70 - ₹140 and the journey takes 59 min. Alternatively, Indian Railways operates a train from Sealdah to Ashok Nagar Rd hourly. Tickets cost ₹75 - ₹85 and the journey takes 1h 2m.
