Syrian Fried Kibbeh Recipe
A Syrian recipe that all arabs love ..
It is made of fried dough made of bulgur and contains minced meat and chopped onions
Ingredients of the kibbeh filling
1 tbs of butter
600 grams of minced meat
Cook the meat
Add 1 chopped onion
1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper , 1 1/2 tsp of mixed spices, 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Kibbeh dough ingredients:
3 cups of fine bulgur
5 cups of water to soak bulgur
Soak the fine bulgur in the water for ½ hour
Then squeeze the bulgur to remove the water
400 grams of minced meat (without fat)
1 minced onion
1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of paprika , 1 tsp of mixed spices
Mix the ingredients
Grind the mix until it is all soft and smooth and take your time
I did it in 7 portions
To get a smooth paste
Shape the kibbeh as shown in the video
Put the kibbeh in the fridge 1/2 hour
Fry the kibbeh in hot oil
Yogurt sauce
200 grams of yogurt
1 and 1/2 tsp of corn starch stirred in 1/4 cup of water
Salt and pepper
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp of dried mint
Put the kibbeh in the sauce
