SANTA LUCIA (December 13) 🎄 Where I grew up, we didn't have Santa Claus...St. Lucy was the gift bringer of us kids of Northeastern Italy. She's a blind Saint dressed in white. She rides a donkey and rings a bell to make her presence known. Kids however are not allowed to see her, or else she'll throw ashes in their eyes...
