The Pew Research Center reports that there are 62 million people of Hispanic decent in this country now — and increase of 23% over the previous decade that outpaced the nation’s 7% overall population growth. And how will these new comers change America’s religious profile? Polls indicate the vast majority of Hispanics describe themselves as Christians, with more Catholics than Protestants, all though interest in Evangelicalism is growing within the demographic.
