The opening date for the new roller coaster at Drayton Manor is set, so it was time for us to head down to the park and try out Gold Rush during the press night. The new Drayton Manor roller coaster is an Intamin lift and launch roller coaster which is suitable for all the family thanks to the height restriction being as low as 1m.

This new roller coaster will take riders on a forwards and backwards journey in the new Western themed area of the theme park.
