In this video, the first in a planned mini series, I'm talking to the people who want an initial introduction as to what SAP Ariba is, starting with the very basics of how a business functions, where the procurement processes fit within a full business model, what the steps in the P2P process are, and then why a company may choose to implement SAP Ariba to help streamline these processes.
When I first started doing research into SAP Ariba a lot of the material was hard to follow, or catered to an audience who already possessed more knowledge than I did. So to anybody looking for an entry level video to understand the core background of procurement as it relates to business, and SAP Ariba as it relates to procurement, then this is a great starting point.
For over a decade now I have been working as an SAP Ariba talent acquisition specialist and I run an SAP Ariba desk with a network of over 3000 SAP Ariba and SAP Procurement professionals working on global implementations of SAP Ariba/Procurement solutions.
As such I have had to upskill consistently in order to keep up with the pace of the market, and in order to interact on a higher level within my network, and the knowledge accumulated to date will form the context of the videos in this "Beginners Guide to SAP Ariba" mini series.
