This church was built above what is believed to be Caiaphas’ House. The owner was rich enough to have his own ritual baths, students & religious leaders would have visited him here & it’s in the location that the historian Josephus identifies. History, ancient documents & oral tradition point to this being the place where Jesus was brought to be condemned.
