The famous Wimbledon dog track has hosted its last ever race before the stadium is flattened to make way for a football ground. Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium's meet on Saturday was its final one having been home to nights at the dogs since 1928. It has been described as a working class cull and with Wimbledon closing the number of dog stadiums in the capital has plummeted from 33 to none.
