We show you all the campsites in the South Rim Campground at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
There is no cell service at South Rim Campground but there is a pay phone outside of the campground entrance.
Water is available in the warmer months but you won't be able to fill your RV with it. Water has to be trucked into the national park
Loop A
- Is the only loop open in winter time
- Sites in Loop A are FCFS, except in the summer, when sites in this loop may be reserved through recreation.gov
- $16 ($8 for valid Senior or Access passes)
Loop B
- During the summer, sites in loop B may be reserved through recreation.gov
- Water and Electricity mid-May to mid-September. Hookups are 20, 30, & 50 amp.
- $22 /night
Loop C
- Always first-come, first-served
- $16 ($8 for valid Senior or Access passes)
Max RV or Trailer length is 55 feet
Generators are not allowed.
Nearest Dump Stations
- Cimarron Campground to the east when it is open
- In Montrose at one of the RV parks or at the county fairgrounds
