Hello & Happy Christmas all, here we have some footage of the London Underground 1973 tube stock which is destined to be replaced by the 2025 stock at the end of next year. I line the 73 stock as it has nice traction motors and just sounds overall quite nice. I’d much prefer these trains than the DART as these are more nice to film. One thing I don’t like is the amount of screeching in the tunnels but once out of the tunnels these are a joy to ride on. Here we see a Piccadilly Line train bound for Cockfosters from Heathrow Terminal 5 and is seen between South Kensington & Leicester Square.
