The concept of dynamic lighting reaches new heights through L'Illa's dynamic ceiling, an unprecedented installation that redefines the notion of lighting experience. In collaboration with the renowned architecture firm BatlleRoig and the Lighting Artec studio, Lumalia Studio has brought to life a dynamic 1100m2 surface, standing as a testament to architectural integration and lighting design. From a technical perspective, the installation comprises over 200,000 pixels distributed throughout the space and meticulously mapped to function cohesively across reproduced content. The choice of RGBW LEDs provides extended color depth, with each element custom-designed and fabricated for the installation's purpose, including panels, LEDs, connection and distribution elements, and tensioned textiles, all aimed at adaptation and integration with the space.
