⭐ Microsoft Loop is the next-generation co-creation experience that brings together teams, content, and tasks across your apps and devices. It will make certain elements of the Project Management experience a lot more intuitive.

It allows real-time collaboration and can be used as an alternative to Notion. It serves as a flexible canvas for brainstorming and managing projects, and brings teams, content, and tasks together across tools and devices. The Microsoft Loop release date for public preview was March 22, 2023.

Microsoft Loop components, which support co-authoring and can take various forms, were already available in Microsoft Teams, Word web app, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Outlook for Windows in private beta in 2022. These components can be shared across Microsoft 365 apps.

To start using Microsoft Loop, users create a workspace and use templates to create different pages. Any content on a Loop page can be turned into a Loop component and shared across Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Word on the web. Microsoft Loop also supports real-time syncing and notifications.

Microsoft Loop also has AI-powered capabilities with the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot, which provides suggestions to help with collaboration. Summarization capabilities for Loop pages and documents are coming soon.

Microsoft Loop is available on the web, iOS (via Testflight), and Android. It currently requires a work account on mobile, but support for personal accounts is coming soon. IT admins can enable Microsoft Loop for their organization using provided instructions.
