Aquaponics farming and how it allows for growing plants and vegetables in a much smaller space than traditional gardening. We chose a home aquaponics garden with aquaponics fish tank because once you have your levels correct and maintained the system feeds itself for the most part. This could be considered a beginners aquaponics diy. The fish pond feeds the plants and the plants feed the fish creating a clean system. Aquaponics at home outdoors under our pole barn allows plenty of sunlight. We will eventually add sides and replace some of the solid roofing panels with clear to allow more natural light from above. We plan to produce house plants, trees, fruits and vegetables not only for ourselves but for the public as well. Our plan is to make this into a commercial setting and a learning environment where you can bring the family out and learn about how to be self sustaining with organically grown produce.
