The former president suggested on social media that General Milley, the country's highest ranking military officer, should be put to death for treason.
These comments come after a recent interview where General Milley discussed the ways he tried to protect the Constitution from Trump. In one such case, General Milley felt compelled to call Chinese officials in the aftermath of the January 6th insurrection to assure them that the nuclear launch arsenal was safe.
According to former Senator Claire McCaskill, the threat against General Milley is "one of the worst things" Trump has ever said and questions why pro-military Republicans aren't condeming the former president.
